Practitioner characteristics were also assessed. The results suggest significant overlap between the two disciplines. Spiritual directors were more likely than psychotherapists to incorporate methods and topics from the other discipline into their practice. Implications for both fields regarding training and suggestions for future research are discussed. | ||
