The Rokeach Value Survey with modified instructions was used to measure what subjects viewed to be Christian ideals. The results indicated high degree of agreement in the perception of what Christians should strive for (terminal values) and how they should live (instrumental values). No significant difference was found between intrinsics and extrinsics in the perception of Christian ideals. Comparisons were made between the value rankings of the present sample and those of religious individuals in earlier studies.
