| Summary: | En este estudio de carácter predominantemente histórico se narra el desarrollo fundacional de la primera presencia de las Escuelas Pías en Polonia, todavía en vida del fundador san José de Calasanz, acaecida el año 1642. La fundación fue pedida expresamente por el Rey Ladislao IV, apoyada y mantenida después por las autoridades del país. El material histórico empleado en el estudio es la correspondencia escrita de Calasanz y la que él fue recibiendo desde Polonia durante los años 1640 a 1646. La de Calasanz es de ánimo y de deseo de que la Obra ofrezca la ayuda esperada por los peticionarios en la educación e instrucción de los niños, según el carisma originario de las Escuelas Pías. En la otra correspondencia, la recibida por Calasanz desde Polonia, mucho más numerosa y extensa, se muestran aspectos varios muy interesantes de la situación social y eclesial del país, de los intereses de la corona y de las dificultades y los aciertos, unidos a la narración del estado de ánimo de los fundadores religiosos, durante este primer periodo de fundación., In this study, mostly historical, is narrated the foundation development of the first Pious Schools present in Poland while the Founder, St. Joseph Calasanz, was still living;, it happened in 1642. The foundation was expressly asked by the King Ladislaus, helped and maintained later on by the authorities of the country. The historical material used for this study is the written correspondence of Calasanz and what he was receiving from Poland during the years 1640 to 1646. Calasanz has the spirit and desire that the Work may offer the help hoped by the petitioners in the education and instruction of the children according to the original charism of the Pious Schools. The other correspondence, the received by Calasanz from Poland, much more numerous and extensive, are shown different aspects very interesting for the social and ecclesiastical situation of the country, interests, diffi culties and successes of the crown, united to the narration of the spirit of the religious founders, during this first period of the foundation. |
