Relationships are constitutive of the self, the "I": becoming aware of that is a warning that our being is not self-referential, and putting it into practice in our various daily activities is the way to put into practice the anteriority of our selves with respect to the Cartesian "ego cogito." In being turned towards others, we have in mind the request for love and meaning that each person expresses in every gesture. In caring for the irreducible fragility of others, we recognize them as valuable and deserving of respect and as desiring and needing to be seen in a way that does not erase their identity, but rather always recognizes, appreciates, and values them so as favor their full and complete flourishing. | ||

La relación es un elemento constitutivo del yo, darse cuenta de ello, es advertir que el proprio ser no es autorreferencial, el ponerlo en práctica en las diversas acciones que realizamos en nuestra vida es el modo de actuar la anterioridad del nosotros respecto al "ego cogito" de matriz cartesiana. Al dirigirnos a los otros tenemos en mente la demanda de amor y de sentido que cada uno lanza en cada gesto y, en el cuidado hacia la irreductible fragilidad del otro, lo reconocemos precioso y merecedor de respeto, pero también deseoso y necesitado de una mirada que no borre su identidad, más aún, que permita siempre reconocerla, apreciarla y valorarla para favorecer su pleno y completo florecimiento. | ||

La relazione è il costitutivo dell'io, il rendersene conto è avvertimento della non autoreferenzialità del nostro essere, il metterlo in pratica nelle diverse azioni che compiamo nella nostra vita è il modo per attuare l'anteriorità del noi rispetto all'ego cogito di matrice cartesiana. Nell'essere rivolti ad altri abbiamo in mente la domanda d'amore e di senso che ciascuno rivolge in ogni gesto e, nel prenderci cura della irriducibile fragilità dell'altro, lo riconosciamo prezioso e meritevole di rispetto, ma anche desideroso e bisognoso di un uno sguardo che non cancelli la sua identità, ma anzi permetta sempre di riconoscerla, apprezzarla e valorizzarla per favorirne una piena e completa fioritura. | ||
