L’objet de l’article consiste à vérifier le plein accord de l’hypothèse avec les sources historiques, en étudiant deux moments clefs de l’histoire de Jérusalem : le siège de Pompée en 63 av. J.-C. et celui d’Hérode et Sosius en 37 av. J.-C.Bezetha Bâris/Antonia Our research on the topography of Jerusalem leads us to propose a route for the Second Wall that is different from the one usually accepted, following the crest of the Hill in a straight line to the western (not eastern) end of the . The purpose of the article is to verify the hypothesis’s full agreement with historical sources by studying two key moments in the history of Jerusalem: the siege of Pompey in 63 BC and that of Herod and Sosius in 37 BC. | ||
