Summary:Paulicianism is a heretic Christian sect that emerged in the third century under the leadership of Paul who was from Sumeysat. The paulician church had reached apolitical and religious power in the VII. Century and rolled in the historical area. Until the date of the last XIX. Century, Paulicians that emerged in eastern Anatolia, central Anatolia and Balkans have left more traces. Paulicians had been characterized by Orthodox churchs as heretic but they characterized themselves as a ecumanical church and Orthodox church. They rejected substantially the orthodox church rituals. They had qualified excessive love of the memories of Mary and saints as a idolatory
