| 520 | |a La religión como elemento identitario de los deportistas ha vuelto al terreno de juego. el debate se plantea desde el enfoque del impacto de la religión en el ámbito deportivo y su posible colisión con el mandato constitucional que impone a los poderes públicos una actuación de neutralidad e imparcialidad respecto a las creencias religiosas y seculares de sus ciudadanos. Desde esta perspectiva, lo se aborda en este trabajo. Para ello, será necesario contextualizar, a grandes rasgos, el marco normativo y jurisprudencial de la libertad religiosa y la noción de neutralidad ideológico-religiosa del estado en el ámbito europeo y en el ordenamiento jurídico español. a continuación, se valora los conflictos que desde este enfoque se producen en el ámbito deportivo en estrecha relación con la naturaleza jurídica de las partes implicadas, principalmente las federaciones deportivas. Por último, se apuntan unas conclusiones que mostrarán que el carácter transversal y multidisciplinar del deporte lo convierte en un ámbito esencialmente propicio para promover la tolerancia, el respeto y la cohesión social. Sobre esa base, se proponen actuaciones convergentes para que los diversos actores implicados integren en las políticas – nacionales e internacionales – deportivas: la tutela de las creencias religiosas de los deportistas. | ||

The debate arises from the focus of the impact of religion on the sporting sphere and its possible collision with the constitutional mandate that imposes on the public authorities an action of neutrality and impartiality regarding the religious and secular beliefs of its citizens. From this perspective, we will address it in this work. To this end, it will be necessary to contextualize, broadly speaking, the normative and jurisprudential framework of religious freedom and the notion of ideological-religious neutrality of the State at european level and in the Spanish legal order. The conflicts that arise from this approach in the sporting field in close relation to the legal nature of the parties involved, mainly sports federations, will then be assessed. Finally, conclusions will be drawn up which will show that the cross-cutting and multidisciplinary nature of sport makes it an essentially conducive area for promoting tolerance, respect and social cohesion. On this basis, convergent actions are proposed for the various actors involved to integrate into the national and international policies: the protection of the religious beliefs of athletes. | ||
