Their heuristic strength, however great it may be, nonetheless leads to a critique of the mediation of theological langage. Because God gives Himself in mediatized immediacy, langage is capable of a theological discourse the quality of which is parallel to the paradoxical conscience of its powerlessness. Thus, theology can all the better accomplish its mission when it is capable of falling back on the wound of langage. | ||
