Interviews among those who are responsible for education in the congregations have shown that this is commonly accepted in the sense that the Baptist rejection of children’s baptism has no support. However, the gift of God in baptism is understood more in a confirming than a creative sense. Considering the current debate on the relationship between baptismal theology and contemporary context, there may be reason to ask if there is something we have lost. | ||
