The goal of the study whose results are reported in the present article is to shed light on the subject and thus to widen the understanding the morpho-phonemics of Modern Hebrew by analyzing a large representative sample of entries from a Hebrew dictionary and categorizing them by origin, grammatical category, stress position, number of syllables, gender, and number.
