He died sometime prior to May 21, 1402. The main facts of Trevisa's life and works were collected by the late Professor A. J. Perry of the University of Manitoba, who visited England in the summer of 1914, and reported the results of his research there in the Introduction to his edition of Trevisa's minor works, published by the Early English Text Society in 1925.
