D'altra parte, la dottrina e la disciplina della Chiesa cattolica hanno ereditato dalla tradizione altri concetti fondamentali di partecipazione ecclesiale, confermati e rielaborati dal concilio Vaticano II e dal Codice di diritto canonico. Quindi, per evitare concezioni generiche o confuse, e utile richiamare il significato di concetti come comunione, comunione gerarchica, collegialità, partecipazione o cooperazione e metterli a confronto appunto con quello di sinodalità: per coglierne le specificità e le correlazioni, aperti anche a possibili evoluzioni in una corretta visione ecclesiologica e giuridico-canonica. | ||
| 520 | |a Today we are witnessing an increasingly insistent use of the term and concept of synodality, as the most appropriate way of life and action in the Church and therefore as the norm of relationships in pastoral ministry and ecclesial mission. On the other hand, the doctrine and discipline of the Catholic Church have inherited from tradition other fundamental concepts of ecclesial participation, confirmed and reelaborated by the Second Vatican Council and the Code of Canon Law. Therefore, in order to avoid generic or confusing concepts, it is useful to recall the meaning of concepts such as communion, hierarchical communion, collegiality, participation or cooperation and compare them with that of synodality: to grasp their specificities and correlations, while remaining open to possible changes in a correct ecclesiological and juridical-canonical vision. | ||
