Les inscriptions mesurent environ un mètre, et sont pour la plupart dans un excellent état (telles 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8) sauf les no 9 et 10. L'article s'attache à l'étude linguistique des noms propres et surtout aux notions et termes nouveaux qui sont: h'ḍyt, Ḥṭyṭ et Hdn. /// The main task of this research is to shed light on ten Safaitic inscriptions from a lava region in north-east Jordanian desert. The writers are grateful to Mr. Abd al-Qadir al-Hassan, the director of the field projects of the Mafraq office of the Department of Antiquities of Jordan, for giving us the pictures of the inscriptions and for his permission to publish these texts. The quality of the following inscriptions is varied: some of them are beautifully inscribed and the letters are greatly extended (e.g. 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8), whereas a few of them are poorly written with very thin letters (e.g. 9, 10). This research tries to give a background about the names and the words examined in these texts, which reveal new Safaitic personal names, and a word: h'ḍyt, Ḥṭyṭ and Hdn. /// (Unicode for Arabic abstract). | ||
