AB Ziel war es, Konzepte der Organallokation für die Lebertransplantation zu beschreiben und zu prüfen, ob sie den ethischen Prinzipien Patientenwohl, Schadensvermeidung, Respekt vor Autonomie und Gerechtigkeit entsprechen. Wir untersuchten die Konzepte des reinen Zufalls (Lotterie), der Wartezeit, der Reziprozität und der Dringlichkeit sowie altersbezogene Konzepte wie ‚Jüngster zuerst‘, ‚Vollständiges Leben‘ und ‚überlebensnutzen-basierte Verteilung‘. Um vergebliche Transplantationen zu minimieren, ist eine zuverlässige Vorhersage des Erfolgs ggf. mit ‚künstlicher Intelligenz‘ erforderlich.
AB The aim was to describe organ allocation concepts for liver transplantation and to test if they meet the ethical principles beneficence, non-maleficence, respect for autonomy and justice. We examined the concepts of lottery, waiting time, reciprocity and urgency as well as age related concepts, such as youngest first, complete lives and survival benefit-based allocation. To minimize futile transplantations a reliable prediction algorithm of the success using artificial intelligence is mandatory.
