AB Sometimes a holy day of obligation (such as Christmas or the Immaculate Conception) falls on a Saturday or Monday. The Church allows us to fulfill our obligation to attend Mass for those days at a Mass the evening before the holy day or Sunday. Thus, the question frequently arises among the faithful: can attendance at one Mass on the evening of the Sunday, which is the evening before the holy day (or vice versa), fulfill the obligation for Sunday and the Holy Day?
