Summary: | Typical of many religious orders today, we are combining several provinces into one. Each province has its own regulations about what belongs in the archives and what does not. Particularly contentious are differences about the work of member artists. That policy has resulted in more then one item by the same artist who was a painter, a sculptor and a weaver. If such items are retained, should the new province archivist seek art works from the artists of the other dormer provinces? Are there any canonical laws or guidelines about such archives? |
