As a teenager, Jack was conditionally baptized by a priest of the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) in the Society’s parish within our Archdiocese. After a short time, he ceased practicing in that tradition. As a young adult, he civilly married an unbaptized woman, and he is still married to her. Now in preparing him for reception into full communion, the parish minster asks whether Jack’s marriage is valid. | ||
