AB Innerhalb einer wieder komplexer werdenden Debatte zur literarischen Gestalt der Pastoralbriefe ordnet sich der vorliegende Beitrag in die Reihe jener Auslegungen ein, die drei jeweils von unterschiedlichen Autoren verfasste Pseudepigraphen voraussetzen. Form und Inhalt der Texte legen die Annahme nahe, dass der Titusbrief auf dem Zweiten Timotheusbrief fußt, der Erste Timotheusbrief auf seinen beiden Vorgängern.
AB Within a discussion on the literary form of the Pastoral Epistles becoming more complex this essay gets in line with those interpretations, which assume three pseudepigrapha, written by three different authors. Form and contents suggest that the letter to Titus is based on the Second Letter to Timothy and that the First Letter to Timothy is depending on both predecessors.
