Description
Summary:In 2021, The Hastings Center launched Bioethics for Journalists, an annual series of online events aimed at helping journalists identify and investigate ethics questions in science and medicine. The Center partnered with the Center for ELSI Resources & Analysis, a federally funded project focused on the ethical, legal, and social implications of genetics and genomics research, to produce four events: “Genomics, Human Behavior, and Social Outcomes”; “Law Enforcement and Genetic Data”; “Precision Medicine Research, ‘All of Us,’ and Inclusion”; and “Addressing Racism in Medical Research and Publishing.” While created for journalists, these events appeal to a broader audience. You can watch them on the Center's website.
