Ciò è successo nonostante il fatto che nel suo capolavoro Ventà e metodo (1960), in particolare nel capitolo dedicato a «l'esperienza ermeneutica», Gadamer ci offra un triplice modello molto plausibile dell' «esperienza dell'altro» (del «tu»), che risulta estremamente feconda per modellare gli incontri interpersonali nelle relazioni di supporto. Gadamer cita tre tipi di «esperienza del tu» (Erfahrung des Du): l'approccio all'altro come un oggetto, la comprensione immatura dell'altro, la dialettica dell'apertura reciproca. In questo saggio la prima figura viene chiamata autonomia indifferentista, la seconda paternalismo con riferimento all'io, la terza — utilizzando le parole di Gadamer — la dialettica della reciprocità; al termine della loro analisi recensiva ci saranno delle brevi osservazioni critiche relative al valore euristico del modello gadameriano. Hans-Georg Gadamer's theory of dialogue is rarely averted to academic literature to model the intrinsic dynamics of the interpersonal relationship between the professional care-giver and person in care. This is the case despite the fact that in a central chapter of his magnum opus Truth and Method (1960) dedicated to the «hermeneutic experience», Gadamer offers a threefold model to describe the experience of the other (the «Thou»), a description which proves to be a very fruitful interpretation of interpersonal care. Gadamer sketches three sorts of «experience of the Thou» (Erfahrung des Du): objeetification of the other; understanding of the other in an immature way; and dialectic of reciprocal openness. In my paper I delineate the first figure as «neutral autonomy»; the second as «self-centered paternalism»; and the third, following the terminology of Gadamer, the «dialectic of reciprocity». Finally, at the end of this synthetic examination, I make several short critical observations concerning the heuristic value of the gadamerian model. | ||
