La stessa espressione, compresa nel senso del genitivo soggettivo, indica il dialogo come una realtà capace di costituire un ethos. In questo caso, però, il «dialogo» viene concepito nel senso più ampio, cioè come un modo fondamentale dell'esistenza umana. Alla luce del pensiero filosofico di Martin Buber, ehe concepisce il dialogo principalmente in questo senso più ampio, vengono interpretati due elementi essenziali di tale ethos, vale a dire la responsabilità e i valori morali. L'articolo mostra e dimostra, oltre che la duratura fecondità dell'opera del pensatore scomparso cinquant'anni fa, la complementarietà di ambedue i sensi dell' «ethos del dialogo» e la loro attinenza teoretica e pratica alla vita autenticamente umana. The expression «ethos of dialogue», understood as objective genitive, refers to certain attitudes and ethical reasons according to which a true discourse can be carried out between two or more persons. The same expression, taken as subjective genitive, indicates the dialogue as a reality capable of founding an ethos. In this case, however, the «dialogue» is taken in its broader sense, that is, as a fundamental mode of human existence. In light of the philosophical thought of Martin Buber, who understands dialogue mainly in this broader sense, two essential elements of the ethos are presented and interpreted, namely responsibility and moral values. While highlighting the enduring riches of the work of a thinker who died fifty years ago, the article shows the complementary nature of both the meanings of «ethos of dialogue» and their theoretical and practical relevance to an authentic human life. | ||
