Ogni forma di comunicazione non si esaurisce in un mero passaggio di dati informativi, ma interpella e invita al dialogo. In quanto «Parola di Dio espressa in linguaggio umano» (DV 13), la Bibbia contiene una forza «pragmatica» che stimola nei lettori una trasformazione da semplici ascoltatori a protagonisti di senso. Among other methods of biblical interpretation, the Document of the Pontifical Biblical Commission (1993) had also mentioned the method of Semiotic Analysis. This contribution illustrates the fecundity of the interplay between Semiotics and Linguistics, by proposing an approach to the Bible from a communicative perspective. No form of communication can be reduced to a mere exchange of informational data; rather, it is both a challenge and invitation to dialogue. As «the Word of God expressed in human language» (DV 13), the Bible contains a «pragmatic» power that stimulates in its readers a transformation from being mere listeners to becoming agents of meaning. | ||
