This paper presents the unique contribution of Antiono Orbe's to the Gnostic, and especially Valentinian, research, with a particular attention given to the five volumes of his master-piece, the Estudios Valentinianos. Over more than forty years, Orbe conducted a rigorous analysis of the Gnostic and heresiological sources, Greek, Latin and Coptic, in order to illustrate the Gnostic theology and exegesis. | ||
