El presente artículo se centra en la experiencia de Cristo de los pobres, en cuanto fundamento del «seguimiento de Cristo» en América Latina. La investigación distingue la lucha de los pobres por vivir dignamente, de su articulación religiosa explícita tradicional y post-conciliar. En la nueva religiosidad de los pobres tiene lugar una ampliación de la noción de espiritualidad, una vivencia de la Iglesia de los pobres y esfuerzos por lograr cambios sociales y políticos. The Second Vatican Council has been received by the Latin American Church as an «option for the poor». This article focuses on the experience of Christ in the poor, as the foundation of «following Christ» in Latin America. The research distinguishes between the struggle of the poor to live with dignity, and their explicit traditional and post-conciliar religious expression. In the new religiosity of the poor there occurs an extension of the notion of spirituality, an experience of the Church of the poor and efforts to achieve social and political changes. | ||
