Rather than offering a comprehensive analysis, the article highlights some aspects of Demmer's thought on the presupposition that his moral theology can be understood as the attempt to unpack the ethical implications and the effectual history of the Christological event. The first part of this study analyzes the philosophical premises of Demmer's moral theology, especially the meaning and function of moral normativity and the distinctive phenomenological character of moral truth as Sinnwahrheit, i.e., as truth pertaining to meaning. In the second part, the renewed anthropological conditions upon which the Christian operates are seen as the direct result of a faith that elicits reflection from moral reason and inspires moral reason. In doing so, faith produces in the believer a specific horizon of meaning, a «system of anthropological coordinates» from which one looks at the world. Such theological outlook is Christological in nature and it is defined by a twofold commitment: to the unrelenting interpretation of the historical particularity of the Christian faith tradition; and to the reconstruction of the conditions for universal moral communication, beyond the limits of one's specific theological affiliation. In the works of Klaus Demmer, hermeneutical and transcendental modes of thinking intermediate with one another beyond any methodological separation, reflecting a concern for the internal coherence of the moral theological system, on the one hand, and for the constant integration of new philosophical perspectives, on the other, in critical dialogue with culture and society. L'articolo si prefigge lo scopo di fornire una introduzione generale alla teologia fondamentale di Klaus Demmer, con una particolare attenzione alla funzione mediatrice dell'antropologia teologica. L'analisi è volutamente non esaustiva. Si concentra piuttosto su alcuni aspetti importanti del pensiero di Demmer, definiti da una comprensione generale della teologia morale come il tentativo di articolare le implicazioni etiche e la storia degli effetti dell'evento cristologico. Nella prima parte dell'articolo, si analizzano alcune premesse di natura filosofica. In particolare, il significato e la funzione della normativita morale, come pure la singolarità fenomenologica della verità morale come Sinnwahrheit, cioè come ventà che concerne il senso. Nella seconda parte, si mostra come la razionalità pratica del credente opera sulla base di condizioni antropologiche rinnovate, le quali, a loro volta, sono viste come il risultato directo di una fede che riflette sulla ragione morale e, viceversa, di una ragione morale che influisce sull'autocomprensione della fede. In questo duplice movimento di pensiero, la fede produce nel credente un orizzonte di senso specifico, un sistema di coordinate antropologiche a partire dal quale egli comprende sé stesso e la realtà tutta. In quanto segnata da un tale orizzonte di senso, che sarà intrinsecamente cristologico, la preoccupazione della teologia morale è duplice: si riferisce all'inesausto e mai concluso lavoro di interpretazione della particolarità storica dell'evento cristologico e, insieme, alla necessità di ricostruire le condizioni di possibilità di una sua universale comunicazione, al di là dei limiti della fede cristiana. Nell'epistemologia teologica di Demmer, prospectiva trascendentale e prospectiva ermeneutica si integrano a vicenda, riflettendo, da una parte, la preoccupazione per la coerenza interna del sistema teologico-morale e, dall'altra, per la costante integrazione di nuove prospettive filosofiche, in continuo dialogo con la cultura e la società. | ||
