Man, being per natura «in the image of God», finds himself constitutionally incardinated in the «God archetype». The ousia of man is therefore at the same time hyperousios, anthropology and metaphysics coincide. Entrusting his own existence under the aegis of Love, man can transcend the iconic condition of his created being and immerge himself, body and soul, in the sphere of the uncreated energies of God, becoming similar to God; in this way he fulfills his ontological constitution of zôon theoùmenon. | ||
