Es una metodología para integrar metodologías (meta-metodología). La estrategia para lograrlo consiste en entender que hay un isomorfismo entre neustra actividad cognoscitiva y el ser o la realidad. Para ello hay que profundizar la noción del ser de la tradición aristotélico-tomista. Esta noción es el dinamismo de nuestra estructura cognoscitiva, común a todos los seres humanos. Es trascendental. Por ser noción y no concepto queda siempre la integración como tarea permanente. Para acometer tal misión el metafísico (más bien un grupo humano) debe hacer un previo trabajo pedagógico de auto apropiación de sus capacidades cognoscitivas y de sus exigencias normativas. The definition of metaphysics given by Lonergan is analized: the conception, affirmation and implementation of the integral heuristic structure of proportionate being. Here we have a prevalent work program. The main task of metaphysics is to integrate diverse realms of meaning that may seem unconnected. It is a methodology meant to integrate methodologies (meta-methodology). The strategy to achieve this consists of understanding that there is an isomorphism between our cognitive activity and being. For this we must thoroughly examinate the traditional thomist notion of being, that is the dynamic orientation of our cognitive structure, common to all humans (transcendental). Because it is a notion and not a concept, integration will always remain a permanent task. In order to undertake such a mission, the metaphysician (rather a group than a person) should exercise a previous pedagogical self appropriation of his own cognitional structure and its immanent normativity. | ||
