Son hésitation à identifier Jésus comme Dieu a sa source dans son refus d'employer le language objectivant de «substance». Mais l'affirmation patristique de la nature divine de Jésus est basée sur sa relation filiale unique par rapport au Père telle qu'elle est révélée dans l'Ecriture. Le terme «sacrement de Dieu» n'exprimerait-il pas ce qui est dit par «parabole de Dieu», en synthétisant mieux les thèmes néo-testamentaires? Cette suggestion introduit les questions théologiques sous-jacentes de l'analogie et de la liberté qui seront traitées dans la seconde partie de l'article. | ||
