Description
Summary:This essay explains in brief synthesis the most salient aspects of the philosophical anthropology of José Ortega y Gasset on the theme of coporality. Based on this, a reflection is proposed on how to insert a theory of the body within an integral theory of man. The vision of man as an incarnate spirit leads to the philosophical foundation of those human values related to corporality, and to the conviction that the ethical aspects involved do not come from something extrinsic to man. The essay concludes with a reference to the positive evaluation of the body within Catholic Christianity.
