In pontificatu Joannis XXII 82 electiones episcopales factae sunt, quarum 69 per bullam pontificiam, 38 per suffragia capitulorum, sed ex istis non nisi 2 a Romano Pontifice approbatae, 17 prorsus exclusae. Aliae 19 irritae declarabantur a papa, qui tandem candidatum a canonicis propositum approbavit. Systema reservationum in Hispania resistentiam invenit fere nullam. Ad reformationem fere nihil contulit. Ecclesiam hispanam neque colorem gallicum assumpsisse dicere fas est, neque in melius mutatam. | ||
