Therefore, I will reflect on what fortitude is not and I will try to define and examine it, both as a cardinal virtue that is a condition of all the others, and in its specificity, mentioning its components, or the virtues that assist it, distinguishing it for example from resignation and pacifism and asserting its relationship with love. At the end I will make some eschatological suggestions. L’intento del presente contributo è riflettere sulla natura e sulle componenti della fortezza quale virtù etica che oggigiorno rischia facilmente di essere incompresa. Perciò, rifletterò su cosa la fortezza non è e proverò a definirla e tematizzarla, sia come virtù cardinale che è condizione di tutte le altre, sia nella sua specificità, accennando alle sue componenti o alle virtù a lei coadiuvanti, distinguendola per esempio dalla rassegnazione rinunciataria e dal pacifismo e asserendone il rapporto con l’amore. Infine farò qualche accenno escatologico. | ||
