Restano all’autore due domande: come è possibile all’uomo intendere pienamente (totaliter) una qualsiasi cosa, anche un solo aspetto della realtà, se la Verità, fondamento dell’intendere umano, non è mai completamente raggiungibile dall’intelletto umano finito ed è semplice? Inoltre, come può l’uomo, nella condizione beatifica, intendere che l’Assoluto è in sé stesso maggiormente intelligibile rispetto a quanto egli Lo intenda? In the tradition inspired by Aristotle, the agent intellect is a major source of dispute. The article’s aim is to investigate the topic both in Albert the Great and from a critical point of view with particular regard to the question of the human cognitive limit. Two questions remain that the author poses: how can human being fully (totaliter) understand something, even only a single aspect of reality, if the Thruth, foundation of the human understanding, cannot be completely understood and is simple? Furthermore, how can Man understand, in the beatific vision, that the Absolute is in itself more intelligible in comparison to how he understands Him? |
