Sia l’Aquinate sia Heidegger descrivono la verità come intelligibilità attuale, che le cose hanno nell’atto della comprensione. In questo senso, la metafisica di san Tommaso si occupa della questione fenomenologica: come le cose stesse, ossia nella loro esistenza, appaiono in relazione alla mente umana? – domanda che il pensiero di Heidegger sviluppa. Solo le sue opere successive alla svolta enfatizzano che l’Essere si dà attraverso se stesso e non a motivo della proiezione umana. Il saggio, di conseguenza, compara la comprensione dell’essere dell’Aquinate con l’ultima fase della fenomenologia di Heidegger. Entrambi i filosofi trattano la questione dell’Essere intelligibile, della verità dei giudizi, della natura dell’Essere come attualità di tutti gli atti, del rendersi presente dell’Essere, che non può essere rappresentato dalla mente umana, della differenza ontologica come origine di tutti i concetti, e della corrispondente formazione del concetto, in modi simili. The truth or unconcealment of Being may serve as the point of comparison between Heidegger’s phenomenology and Aquinas’ metaphysics. Both Aquinas and Heidegger describe the truth of Being as actual intelligibility, which things have in the act of understanding. In this sense, Aquinas’metaphysics deals with the phenomenological question: How do things themselves, i. e., in their existence, appear relative to the human mind? - Heidegger’s thought develops. Only his works after the turn emphasize that Being presences through itself and not because of a human projection. Accordingly, this essay compares Aquinas’ understanding of being to the last phase of Heidegger’s phenomenology. Both philosophers treat the questions of intelligible Being, of the truth of judgments, of the nature of Being as actuality of all acts, of the presencing presence of Being, which cannot be represented by the human mind, of the ontological difference as origin of all concepts, and of the corresponding concept formation, in similar ways. | ||
