Beginning from the reading of Orthodoxy by Gilbert Keith Chesterton, considered as a creative apologetic, the article proposes to explore the contribution of the imagination to the discourse elaborated in fundamental theology. In particular, the imagination – deemed as the capacity to render odd matters which have been established – is considered as that which is conducive to a reawakening of religious sensibility and which deconstructs the obstacle to the acceptance of faith constituted by the being culturally immersed in an imagery which is mostly post-Christian. | ||
