| 總結: | The article discusses the peculiarities of Alberico Gentili’s “secularism” in his Disputationes Regales. Although it remains true that Gentili takes a decisive step in the direction of the separation between theology and politics, his famous Silete theologi in munere alieno cannot be interpreted as a manifesto of “secularization” in the full modern sense of the expression. As a matter both of fact and of logic, Gentili’s position involved the recognition of the public relevance both of religion and theology. Furthermore, commitment to a Protestantism with particularly strong links to the scipture remains an active element in his whole pattern of thought. Attraverso l’analisi delle sue Disputationes Regales, viene discussa la questione delle peculiarità del ‘secolarismo’ di Alberico Gentili. Pur riconoscendo che la sua posizione circa la separazione tra teologia e politica segna un marcato significativo passo in avanti, il suo famoso Silete theologi in munere alieno è lungi dall’essere quel manifesto della ‘secolarizzazione’ nel senso pienamente moderno dell’espressione. Di fatto la sua posizione non solo riconosce l’autorità e la rilevanza pubblica sia della religione che della teologia, ma è possibile cogliere uno stretto legame di ispirazione tra il suo Protestantesimo biblico e tutto il suo modo di pensare. |
