L’esperienza dantesca, attraverso un percorso di dimenticanza del male compiuto – immersione simbolica nel Lethe – e di ricordo del bene compiuto – immersione simbolica nell’Eunoè –, mostrandosi straordinariamente vicina all’esperienza introspettiva di Anselmo, ci rivela come l’uomo esperisca Dio dentro sé durante il proprio cammino di redenzione dal peccato, un Dio che misericordiosamente “dimentica” le nostre colpe e giustamente “ricorda” i nostri meriti. The article tries to propose an interpretation of two symbolic rivers, Lethe and Eunoè, which Dante meets in terrestrial Paradise, located in the top of the Purgatory, in the perspective of some fundamental messages of the Anselmo’s Proslogion. The Justice and the Mercy in God are the same. The Dante’s experience, concerning a process of forget of the evil committed – symbolic immersion in river Lethe – and a process of remember the good committed – symbolic immersion in the Eunoè –, is very similar at the experience of Anselmo’s Proslogion. This experience explains as into the spiritual and human dimension, we find God, the mercy of God forgets ours faults and the justice of God remembers ours merits. | ||
