La scène de l'agonie, qui en constitue le climax, fixe en particulier un modèle, celui de la «belle mort» réformée, dont cet article voudrait cerner la mise en scène à partir d'un corpus le plus complet possible (XVIe-XVIIIe siècles). La description et l'analyse de cette «mort-spectacle», à partir de ses principales composantes narratives (temporalité, localisation, dramatis personae et conduite de l'action), doivent permettre de définir les caractéristiques d'une véritable cérémonie de la Parole. Entitled "Final hours" or "Final moments" and widely distributed in the francophone Protestant community, the narratives of the deaths of ministers testify to the desire to simultaneously honor the dead and enlighten the living. The climactic scene of the death throes most particularly sets up a model, that of the protestant "belle mort". The aim of this article is to understand its construction through the analysis of as complete a sample as possible (16th – 18th centuries). The description and analysis of these "spectacular deaths", based on their main narrative components (time, location, dramatis personae, and unfolding of the action), will demonstrate that they are intended as authentic ceremonies of Biblical Speech. In der frankophonen protestantischen Welt unter dem Titel "Letzte Stunden" oder "Letzte Momente" sehr breit veröffentlicht, bezeugen die Erzählungen über den Tod der Pastoren einerseits den Willen, der Toten zu gedenken, anderseits die Lebenden innerlich zu stärken. Die Szene der Agonie, als echter Höhepunkt, soll ein Modell des "schönen reformierten Todes" darstellen, dessen Inszenierung der Artikel anhand eines Corpus so umfangreich wie möglich (16.-17. Jahrhundert) unterstreichen möchte. Die Beschreibung und Analyse dieses "Todesschauspieles" anhand seiner hauptsächlichen Erzählkomponenten (Zeitlichkeit, Lokalisierung, Dramatik der handelnden Personen – dramatis personae – und Verlauf der Handlung) sollen die Möglichkeit schaffen, die Charakteristika einer regelrechten Offenbarung des Wortes zu definieren. | ||
