La comparaison avec d'autres textes contemporains (d'Agrippa d'Aubigné en particulier) évoquant la nature pyrénéenne permet de mettre en lumière la spécificité du projet poétique de Du Bartas et d'apprécier l'originalité d'un texte où le traitement anthropomorphe de la montagne donne lieu à un éloge du Prince nuancé par une leçon de morale politique. This article studies the representation of mountain scenery in a poem which Du Bartas offered to Henri TV in about 1580. We investigate the didactic and political dimensions of the encomium of the Comté de Foix. Comparison with other contemporary texts (notably by Agrippa d'Aubigné) evoking the natural qualities of the Pyrenees allows us to clarify the specificity of Du Bartas's poetic project, and to appreciate the originality of a text in which an anthropomorphic treatment of the mountain gives rise to an encomium of the Prince suffused with a lesson of political morality. Der Aufsatz handelt von der Darstellung bergischer Landschaften in einem Gedicht, das Du Bartas dem zukünftigen König Heinrich IV. um 1580 widmete, wobei die didaktischen und politischen Dimensionen jenes Lobs auf die Grafschaft Foix hervorgehoben werden. Durch einen Vergleich mit zeitgenössischen literarischen Evozierungen des Pyrénées-Gebirges wird man die Spezifizität von Du Bartas' Poetik, in der Weise, wie diese in einer anthropomorphen Darstellung des Berggebietes ihren Niederschlag findet, die zu einem durch eine Lektion politischer Ethik fein nüancierten Lob auf den Fürsten führt, genauer erkennen können. | ||
