Les temples de la principauté d'Orange aux XVII e et XVIII e siècles

Dans le bourg voisin de Courthézon, un temple est construit en 1655. Ces deux temples sont détruits en 1685. En 1697, les protestants reconstruisent les deux temples avec un grand arc longitudinal. Le plan de ces quatre temples s'inspire de celui de Nîmes. Four temples were built in the Principality of Orange during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The temple erected at Orange in 1633 had a long longitudinal arch, which supported the roof and covered a vast interior space. In the neighboring town of Courthézon, a temple was built in 1655. Both of these temples were destroyed in 1685. In 1697, the Protestants rebuilt the two temples, each with a great longitudinal arch. The temple of Nîmes served as the inspiration for these four temples. Im Fürstentum Orange wurden im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert vier reformierten Kirche gebaut. Die 1633 in Orange entstandene Kirche umfasst einen grossen Längsbogen zur Stützung des Dachs für einen grossen geschlossenen Raum. Im Nachbardorf Courthézon wurde 1655 eine Kirche gebaut. Diese beiden wurden 1685 zerstört. 1697 bauten die Protestanten die beiden Kirchen wieder auf, beide mit grossem Längsbogen. Der Grundriss dieser vier Kirchen ist von derjenigen in Nantes Inspiriert. | ||
