From 1954 until 1962, 25 texts were published by the leading authorities of french Protestantism with four dominant characteristic : torture, the state of mind of reservists, the charitable interventions, and the seek of a fair and fraternal peace. During six years, dialogue was made very difficult inside the Church. Along with General De Gaulle's rise to power as well as the Montbéliard Assembly of 1960, a new era begins although only the Protestant Federation of France is able to send a clear message. |
