Une interprétation sociale, d'inspiration socialiste (Kautsky), qui fait des anabaptistes les précurseurs du communisme. Quitte, dans la tradition marxiste, à considérer leur combat comme illusoire. Ou, à l'inverse, dans la tradition wébérienne, à souligner leur appartenance aux couches sociales bien intégrées. Une interprétation anthropoligique qui souligne les attentes eschatologiques mais aussi la dimension spécifique et spécifiquement religieuse, comme en témoigne le baptême collectif de la communauté urbaine. Une interprétation culturelle qui reinterprete le déroulement des événements et reconstitue la mémoire perdue, ou tronquée par les orthodoxies, des anabaptistes. Three interpreations have been given of the events of Munster (1534-1535). Under the influence of socialism (Kautsky) a social interpretation which considers the anabaptists as the forerunners of communism. If only to judge their fight as an illusion in the marxist historiography. Or, on the contrary, in the weberian historiography, to underline that they belonged to the well integrated classes of the town. An anthropological interpretation, which emphasizes the eschatological hopes but also the civic and the specific religious meaning, proved by the new baptism of the community. A cultural reading which reinterprates the further developments and restores the memory of the anabaptists, which has been mutilated by the orthodoxies or even lost. Drei Erläuterungen wurden von den Münsterer Ereignissen (1534-1535) dargestellt. Aus sozialistischen Anregung eine soziale Erläuterung, die die Täufer ah Vorläufer des Kommunismus betrachtet. Auf die Gefahr hin, daß die marxistische Geschichtsschreibung ihren Kampf als illusorisch beurteilt. Oder umgekehrt, daß die weberische Geschichtsschreibung ihre Zugehörigkeit zu den integrierten städtischen Schichten betont. Eine anthropologische Erläuterung, die die eschatologischen Erwartungen sowie die städtische und spezifisch religiöse Bedeutung unterstreicht, welche die allgemeine Wiedertaufe beweist. Eine kulturelle Erläuterung, die die Folge der Ereignisse neu interpretiert und die von den Rechtgläubigkeiten verstümmelte oder sogar verlorene Gedächtnis der Täufer wiederherstellt. |
