Un déchiffrage attentif de ces actes révèle une politique matrimoniale qui permet à l'intéressé, tout en s'intégrant rapidement, de se procurer du fret pour ses navires et des fonds pour leur armement. Une tactique triangulaire qui met en jeu des drapiers picards et normands et certains banquiers de la haute banque protestante parisienne. The registers of the Chapels of the Swedish and Danish embassies in Paris during the XVIIIth century mention a number of records concerning foreign Lutheran merchants trading in the French seaports of the Atlantic or English Channel coast. A careful examination of these records reveals a matrimonial policy, which enabled the individuals concerned to raise funds to equip their ships and to obtain cargoes, while allowing them rapidly to become part of the community. It was a triangular tactic, involving cloth manufacturers from Picardy and Normandy, and a number of members of the Protestant banking élite in Paris.
