Protestant « sociologique » et « de mémoire historique », son action essentielle dans l'histoire du protestantisme porte sur la mémoire collective qu'il entretient par ses discours et romans historiques qui maintiennent « l'identité narrative » de la communauté. Chamson's Protestantism is at odds with the dogma and it is also indissociable with the regional idiosyncracies connected to the Carnisard war and with his family roots. This coercitive set determines a habitus which has a great impact on the moral and political. A man of « historical memory », he is a « sociological « protestant. His main action in the history of Protestantism is concerned with the collective memory that he fosters by speeches and historical noveh which maintain the « narrative identity » of the community. Der Protestantismus Chamsons bricht mit dem Dogma und ist dabei untrennbar verbunden mit den regionalen Besonderheiten des Camisardenkriegs und seiner eigenen familiären Wurzeln. Dies prägt zwingend einen weit über die moralische und politische Dimension hinausreichenden Habitus. Er ist ein « soziologischer » Protestant wie auch einer des « geschichtlichen Erinnerns » ; in der Geschichte des Protestantismus wirkt er insbesondere auf das kollektive Gedächtnis mit seine Reden und historischen Romanen, durch die er die « erzählte Identität » der protestantischen Gemeinschaft aufrechterhält. | ||
