Ziglag: A Biblical City on the Edge of the Negev
Excavations at this site, associated with David's service as a vassal to the Philistine king of Gath, provide some interesting evidence of the activities of the major powers of Egypt and Assyria in the region and new insights into the cultural lifestyle of a border settlement.
