| Resumo: | Das Spätmittelalter bildete eine ars moriendi aus. Aufgrund der neuzeitlichen Prozesse und des religiös-kulturellen Pluralismus in der Gegenwart ist diese ars moriendi überholt. Zugleich entsteht ein neues Bewusstsein für den Umgang mit dem Sterben, das sich in einer ars moriendi nova ausdrücken kann. Mit der Corona-Pandemie gerät diese scheinbar an ihre Grenzen. Zugleich verweist die ars moriendi nova auf die notwendigen Reflexionen des Sterbens wie auch der Bedingungen, in denen sich dieses vollzieht. The late Middle Ages formed an ars moriendi. Due to modern processes and religious-cultural pluralism in the present, this ars moriendi is outdated. At the same time, a new awareness of how to deal with dying is emerging, which can express itself in an ars moriendi nova. With the Corona pandemic, this apparently reaches its limits. At the same time, the ars moriendi nova points to the necessary reflections on dying and the conditions in which it takes place. |
