AB The purpose of this paper is to examine the relation of the Gospel According to Thomas (NH II, 2), the Acts of Thomas and the Book of Thomas (the so-called Book of Thomas the Contender, NH II, 7), to the Thomas Tradition. A special attention is paid to the specific contribution of each one of these three literary works to the construction of the Thomas Tradition.
