Summary:The present study deals with the Coptic Arabic and Garshuni versions of the Paralipomena of Jeremiah. After an extensive confrontation of theses versions, the following results can be suggested: 1. the original should be written in Egypt as well as the Coptic and Arabic versions; 2. according to several arguments, it appears that the Coptic version is the translation of a Greek original.
