RT Article T1 The Pharisees: their Origin and their Philosophy JF Harvard theological review VO 22 IS 3 SP 185 OP 261 A1 Finkelstein, Louis LA English YR 1929 UL https://ixtheo.de/Record/1784639338 AB The brilliant light thrown upon the Pharisees and the Sadducees by the careful studies of Geiger and Wellhausen, and their many disciples, has not completely dispelled the obscurity whieh surrounds the origin and being of these ancient groups.
