This article intends to discuss the relationship between religion and secularized society, as well as observe the strategies, opportunities and challenges of an independent Pentecostal pastor, i.e., Romilton Oliveira while trying to live for and off religion in this society. Analyzing his family origin, conversion and ecclesiastic career, I intend to exam the religious career of this Pentecostal pastor. Moreover, analyzing the Pentecostal religious organization created by Romilton, I seek to exam the primary and non-primary functions developed by the religious organization in order to survive and influence the individuals, demonstrating, in this way, how religion influences and is influenced by other social spheres. | ||
