Moule, the paper asks the question: 'What do New Testament scholars have to say to the theologians, and what do theologians have to say to the New Testament scholars when they read the Scriptures together?' It concludes that, though in the past century New Testament scholars and theologians have sometimes allowed themselves to be pushed apart, it is both possible and important that they work together to understand what the Bible is saying today. |
